Warranty

We offer a 3 Month warranty on all mechanical and electrical parts. Non mechanical and non electrical parts (body panels) have a 12 month warranty, this does not include any damage to body panels after receipt. Part worn tyres 3 Month warranty, batteries and high voltage components 3 month warranty. . In cases of faulty or damaged parts we will supply a replacement. If a replacement cannot be sourced within a reasonable amount of time then a full refund will be issued of the purchase price. Replacement or refund will only be issued upon receipt of original invoice and return of the original part in the same condition as it was supplied with security marks still intact. Traynors will not reimburse any labour costs or charges for fitting/removal/changing of any parts supplied by the company under any circumstances. All Engines must be fitted by a properly qualified technician and be correctly serviced with new cam and auxiliary belts, oil, oil filters and spark plugs. Failure to adhere to these conditions will invalidate warranty and no refund or replacement will be issued. Engines are sold as bare and will not include starter, alternator, Gearbox, injectors, Turbos etc. Any ancillary parts supplied have not been tested and are free of charge. These parts are not covered by Traynors warranty. All Engines will be supplied free of fluids. Any attempt to start an engine without correct fluids will render warranty invalid. Traynors do not cover any parts that show signs of being tampered with, ie being opened up. No liability can be accepted for malfunction, damage or injury caused by incorrect fitting of safety critical / explosive parts (ie, airbags and seatbelts). Every effort has been made to erase personal information from infotainment systems, in taking delivery of this vehicle or infotainment unit, the buyer agrees not to actively seek to access or restore any such information. In the event that any personal information is found during use the Buyer agrees to erase any such information. The buyer further agrees to indemnify the vendor in respect of any claims for subsequent misuse of such information. If a part is purchased in error, it can be returned within 7 days but a 20% re-stocking charge will apply and a credit note will be given. Please note that all credit notes are only valid for 6 months. Whilst all efforts are made to ensure accuracy of description, specifications and pricing there may be occasions where errors arise. Should such a situation occur Traynors LTD cannot accept your order. In the event of a mistake you will be contacted with a full explanation and a corrected offer.

Limitation of Liability

TRAYNORS LTD shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if TRAYNORS LTD has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation of exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Typographical Errors

In the event that a TRAYNORS LTD product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, TRAYNORS LTD reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. TRAYNORS LTD reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, TRAYNORS LTD shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Salvage

If a vehicle is described as "starts" or "Drives" this means that it did so when it was collected or that a member of staff has started or driven it. The car may have been interfered with since that time. Drives will normally mean that the vehicle can be moved forwards or backwards. The vehicle will not have been driven over any considerable distance. Most Vehicles will have been taxed and MOT’d at the time of the accident, Insurers normally do not pay out unless this is the case. Tax is personal to the owner and will not be passed on. The Insurer will normally retain the MOT, only to make sure the vehicle is inspected before being put back on the road. We would always recommend that all salvage vehicles be checked over or serviced by a qualified mechanic as, in most cases, we do not know what the service history is or whether the car has been tampered with in any way. Most people do try to drive our vehicles home but we would always recommend collecting any vehicle with a trailer or recovery truck where possible. We also offer a delivery service with prices starting from £50+vat depending on location. There is no VAT on Cars, Motorcycles or Caravans, however, VAT is applicable to most Vans and Commercials at the current rate of 20%. All payment methods are welcome, Cash, Cheque (with valid bank card), Credit or Debit Cards (please note, Credit cards will incur a 2.5% admin fee) or Bank Transfer. All customers must provide valid photographic ID at time of purchase.
